$100,000 Available for Education, Environment, and Workforce Development
Our 2026 CommunityWorks Grant Program is now OPEN!
The Heart of Illinois Community Foundation has $100,000 available to support eligible nonprofits and schools across our three-county service area, with individual grants ranging from $5,000 to $20,000.CommunityWorks supports new or expanded programs focused on:
• Education
• Environment
• Workforce Development
The first step is to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) through the HICF Grant Portal by Friday, August 21 at 5 p.m.
Organizations whose LOIs meet program criteria and demonstrate feasibility will be invited to submit a full application by September 23. Grant awards will be announced in early October.
