| Eisenhower High School Band Performance in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Hawaii (30) The Eisenhower High School Band has been invited to join the Western Illinois Marching Leathernecks to perform in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Honolulu, Hawaii in December of 2026. In addition to a once in a lifetime performance opportunity, students will learn from music faculty at Western Illinois University, collaborate with students from across the state, and visit Pearl Harbor sites, the Polynesian Cultural Center, and several other historic locations in Hawaii. This travel experience will be beneficial for students because they will have the opportunity to connect with the history they have learned in school and gain a deeper understanding, broaden their global awareness through learning about Native Hawaiian culture firsthand, and grow their musicianship through their rehearsal with college students and faculty |
