Monticello Middle is working on a community garden to include an outdoor classroom and gardens. This school currently has a Garden Club of about 40 students each year and the garden would allow them to expand the usage for the whole school and community (with the hope of potentially growing and donating produce to our local food pantries). At this point, the company that has created the landscape plan has already committed to donating the pergola which is a high dollar item in this overall plan.
