The Jamie Boone Project

Our mission is to promote positive mental health awareness, to offer a few alternatives to self-harm, to aid in the prevention of suicide, to share a message of hope and comfort to those persons who are struggling and/or in a crisis “Self-harm” type of situation.

The Jamie Boone Project has been created to honor our son, Jamie Boone. We are including some tools and information which may help to quell an already tense situation and that can offer hope for a new tomorrow, so that there IS a tomorrow!

Each J.A.M.I.E. Bag (Just A Mental Inventory Everyday) is thoughtfully designed for middle school and high school students as a supportive resource during challenging times. Each drawstring backpack includes 988 Suicide Hotline and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention resources, a writing and drawing journal, motivational coloring book with colored pencils, a stress ball, fidget toys, safety information, journal prompts and coping mechanisms sheets, breathing, anxiety, and suicide awareness stickers, an inspirational pencil, bookmark, frog tattoos, and a brochure
