Moultrie County Impact Giving Circle
Three area community leaders, in partnership with the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation, announce the launch of the Impact Giving Circle. Linda Carlton-Huber, Susie Inman and Grant Wade invite the community to join them in this new giving circle to fuel lasting change.
The Impact Giving Circle invites community-minded men and women to pool their donations and decide together how to best invest in programs that support and empower education and social service agencies in Moultrie County and the surrounding area.
The Impact Giving Circle is a refreshed and inclusive rebrand of 100 Women Who Care, a community giving circle which was popular pre-Covid. We warmly welcome past giving circle members to continue this journey with us – and we invite new faces to join in creating meaningful change together.
With fresh energy and the same heart for giving, Impact Giving Circle members make an annual contribution, $400 per individual, $500 per married couple. Impact Giving Circle members will have exclusive access to VIP events and cast a vote at each quarterly grant gathering, deciding together how pooled funds will support deserving organizations. A portion of the annual contribution is also endowed to support an educational scholarship for a high school graduate.
“From 2016 to 2020, 100 Women Who Care made a lasting impact on our community by awarding over $50,000 in support,” said Grant Wade. “I’m excited for this next chapter as we carry forward their legacy of generosity and community giving.”
Giving circles are a form of collective philanthropy where individuals pool their resources to support causes they care about.
