$30,000 in Arts/Summer Camp Grants Announced
Macon County – Ten Central Illinois organizations have been selected to receive a total of $30,000 in arts/summer camp grant funding. This funding is part of the $1 million Moving Forward grant program established by the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation (HICF) and Decatur Earthmover Credit Union (DECU).
Arts/summer camp grant funding supports art and summer camp programs located in the areas HICF and DECU serve. Each organization will receive $3,000 in grant funding to provide scholarships for those demonstrating a financial need, field trip opportunities, and any other program related expenses.

- Macon County Conservation District for Summer Camps for Kids
- Decatur Park District for their summer camp program at the DISC
- Decatur Park District for BOSS Program
- Decatur Christian Summer Hop Program
- Passion Community Church Kidz Camp
Piatt County
- Allerton Park & Retreat Center for Summer Day Camp Programming
- Cerro Gordo Park Rec Program
Moultrie County
- Little Theatre on the Square Summer Camp for Ages 7-15
Dewitt County
- Little Galilee Christian Camp
