Impact200 Grant Accepting Applications Through Sept. 13

$200,000 in grant funds available for nonprofits and schools in Macon, Piatt and Moultrie Counties and Paris, IL

Macon County – Starting today, the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation (HICF), is accepting applications from nonprofit and educational organizations seeking grants from the Impact200 grant. This program will grant $200,000 this year thanks to the $1 million grant funding collaboration, Moving Forward, between the HICF and Decatur Earthmover Credit Union.

Impact200 invites proposals in areas of arts/culture/recreation, social services, conservation/environment, health, youth and education. There is no minimum award amount, and maximum grants are $50,000. Deadline to apply is September 13 at 4:30pm. Recipients will be announced October 15 at 8:05AM on Byers & Company.

To be eligible for funding, organizations must serve Macon, Piatt or Moultrie counties or Paris, IL and have 501(c)3 status or be a qualified charitable, religious or government organization. The HICF grantmaking process prioritizes organizations recognized by the IRS as operating public charities for at least 3 years.
