We Are One Fund granted over $18,000 on Labor Day to area nonprofits

Congratulations to the 22 area organizations receiving grants today totaling $18,000. The We Are One Community fund was created in 2011 through the partnership of the Mid-Illinois Labor Council and Decatur Building & Construction Trades Council. The donor-advised fund promotes collective giving and philanthropy among working families and is housed at the HICF. The advisory board gives away 100% of all individual donations to local services.
