Grant serves as the Philanthropic Advisor for Moultrie County with the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation. In this role, Grant works passionately to foster charitable giving and community development, helping to connect donors with causes that make a lasting impact in the county.
Alongside this role, Grant is the pastor of a vibrant church community in Sullivan, the county seat of Moultrie County.
Grant's commitment to the community extends beyond his pastoral duties. He has served in various roles, including:
- Commissioner on the City Council
- President of the Sullivan Community Education Foundation
- Board Member Moultrie County Habitat for Humanity
- President of Sullivan Youth Rec League Sports
- Board Member and Treasurer for Sullivan Chamber & Economic Development
These roles underscore his dedication to the economic, educational, and recreational development of Sullivan and its residents. With over 13 years of service to the community, Grant has led with compassion, commitment to spiritual growth, and a deep dedication to community engagement.
Grant grew up in Galesburg and graduated with a BA and MDiv from Lincoln Christian University in Lincoln. Just recently, Grant completed his Doctoral Degree (DMin) in Contextual Theology from Northern Seminary in Lisle.
Grant is married to Erin, who teaches math at Sullivan Middle School. Together, they have three children: Gavin, Emery, and Sawyer.
