ADM STEM Fund Awards Agriculture Grant to Warrensburg-Latham Elementary School
Funds supported a gardening project that kicked off on Earth Day.
To celebrate Earth Day, HICF staff and Board Chair, Kris Lutt along with ADM representatives spent time with Mrs. Caryn Fuiten’s second grade class at Warrensburg-Latham Elementary School.
Mrs. Fuiten’s class was awarded a $925 grant from the ADM STEM Fund, a fund held at the HICF, to support hands on agriculture education. To celebrate Earth Day, students planted various flowers and vegetables and will care for their crops until it’s time to harvest and enjoy the fruits of their labor.
ADM is advancing STEM learning opportunities for local K-12 grade students by offering teacher grants through ADM's STEM Fund.
