Community Foundation of Macon County Partners for Feed the Farmers Event
CFMC staff partnered with community organizations to feed 400 community farmers and encourage gifts of harvest.
This Fall, The Community Foundation of Macon County partnered with Decatur's Country Home 95Q, Macon County Farm Bureau, Scott State Bank and Country Financial to feed 400 community farmers to thank them for all they do to feed our community and the world.
CFMC staff enjoyed feeding the farmers in Blue Mound at Legacy Grain Cooperative, Dalton City at Heritage Grain, Niantic at ADM Grain, and Emery at Topflight Grain, and got everyone entered to win a Milwaukee tools prize package worth $1,000, while also sharing details on the CFMC’s Gifts of Harvest program.
