Community Foundation Scholarship Applications Accepted Until April 1

Macon County - Need funding to help pay for college? Until Apr. 1, 2024, The Community Foundation of Macon County is accepting applications to help fund fall semester 2024 expenses for graduating high school seniors. Any Macon County high school senior who has been accepted at an accredited college or university is encouraged to apply. Scholarship awards vary in size from $500 to $10,000. Students can apply online at www.heartofillinois.org.

Generous donors who are committed to education have established several scholarship funds through The Community Foundation of Macon County. Each year these funds provide over $70,000 and benefit approximately 70 students in Macon County who seek higher education.

Applications are also being accepted for Macon County adult/nontraditional students who are 22 or older and are seeking to complete college degrees or training at Millikin University, Richland Community College or any other accredited college/university nationwide in person or online after interruptions in their education unless they are pursuing a Master’s or PhD. The awards range up to $2,500.
