That's What She Said will premiere in Macon County

Event showcases powerful personal stories from 10 local women

Macon County – Since 2013, The She Said Project’s That’s What She Said performances have been amazing audiences with powerful, intimate stories shared by local women. In this first installment in Macon County, IL, presented by Hickory Point Bank & Trust, 10 women from the community will take the stage and share their own stories of success and overcoming barriers.

That’s What She Said Macon County will take place at The Lincoln Square Theater on April 6, 2024, at 6 p.m. The show is under the direction of Jenette Jurczyk, That’s What She Said National Director. Hickory Point Bank & Trust’s Karla Miller will emcee the show which will feature these 10 female speakers:

  • Tina German-Roberts
  • Amber Hooker
  • Linda Huck
  • Jamie Muscato
  • Dr. Dana Ray
  • Marie Shaffer
  • Sheryol Threewit,
  • Katie Warnick
  • Stacey Young

Tickets will be $35 and online sales will begin in December through the Lincoln Square Theater etix platform.

That’s What She Said proceeds benefit the She Gave Women’s Giving Circle. $25,000 in grants will be awarded during intermission at the April 6 event.
