Chasity Casey serves as Chief Financial Officer of the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation, where she oversees the Foundation’s financial operations and ensures responsible stewardship of charitable assets supporting communities across Macon, Moultrie, and Piatt Counties.
With a strong background in nonprofit finance and donor service, Chasity previously served as Senior Director of Finance, where she played a key role in managing the Foundation’s funds and supporting donors in achieving their philanthropic goals. Her leadership continues to be instrumental as the Foundation grows its endowments and expands its community impact.
Before joining the Foundation, Chasity spent six years with the Decatur Family YMCA and was recognized with the organization’s Outstanding Customer Service Award in 2016. She continues her commitment to community service by serving on the YMCA’s Board of Directors, including previously serving as Board Chair.
Chasity holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation from The American College of Financial Services and earned her bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Illinois–Springfield. She also led the Foundation’s successful re-accreditation under the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations in 2023.
In her free time, Chasity enjoys reading and teaching dance at Studio B Legacy, where she has shared her love of dance with students for the past eight years.
